For one thing, Sombra will be able to secure solo kills on a hacked Zenyatta incredibly quickly if his teammates aren’t around to protect him. My mind’s already spinning at how these changes will affect the make up of Overwatch. Overwatch 2 lead hero designer Geoff Goodman noted on the OWL broadcast that it wouldn’t make any sense to remove her hack entirely, since the basis of her character is that she’s a hacker. The changes to the ability might be welcome news to players who hack a lot of health packs. The fade-in time to Stealth will also be increased by 50%. That’s an increased range from the current two meters. If a Sombra comes within four meters of an enemy while she’s invisible, they’ll detect her. She’s about to get even more annoying, I bet. Sombra will be able to hack enemies without having to exit Stealth mode, but she’ll be briefly visible. One more thing: let’s talk about the changes to Stealth.
